Attention all small-space dwelling fashionistas and men of style: There are ways to make your lack of square footage work with your extensive clothing collection. West Elm's blog, Front + Main, shared some easy-to-apply tips and tricks for mazimizing what space you do have and sneaking in storage solutions where you previously had none. Read on for our favorite chic takeaways.

"Clothing racks can be a storage lifesaver," advises the article. "Get cute hangers and organize your wardrobe by color to make it visually appealing and to make choosing outfits easier." 

"A bed with built-in storage should be your first option," says a West Elm associate. "It’s like adding an entire dresser without taking up any extra space."

"If your bed doesn’t take up your whole room, you can push it a foot or two away from the wall and mount a curtain rod behind it to hang shirts or blouses," they suggest. "Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for fashion!”
