This week, Anthropologie launched its Fall House & Home Journal, introducing the season's biggest trends and dreamy buys—and boy, is it good. We've come to know the brand as a master of statement furniture and whimsical accessories, but the new catalog heralds a smattering of new, unexpected trends.
The biggest takeaway? If the design team at Anthropologie is right, the season's most popular color will be bright and cheery. The team predicts ochre will be fall's hottest shade. "Vibrant, of the moment and fresh, it's the kind of cheery color we want to wake up to," the catalog reads. "Pair with earth tones and add pattern with the carved Thalia bed and matching nightstand."
Ahead, we spotlight the five most prominent fall 2017 trends to know, according to Anthropologie.
We called it in June, and now it's clear that iridescence is here to stay. Anthropologie just launched a transparent, rainbow-tinted coffee table and pendant lights.
A curved green velvet sofa is the statement piece from the collection. It draws inspiration from midcentury designs in the 1950s and 1960s.
"Driftwood tones wash ashore for fall in bleached wood dining tables and consoles," the catalog reads. Look for furniture with subtle brushed-brass details.
Apparently, bright, cheery ochre is the color of the season.
Patterns take center stage in Anthropologie's new fall collection, whether it be through geometric bedding or colorful art.
