Cocktail novices, take note: If there's one classic tipple worth mastering, it's the margarita. It has just a few ingredients, contains tequila, is regarded as one of the "healthiest" spirits, and can be easily garnished to impress guests. Ahead of Cinco de Mayo and the 70th anniversary of the original margarita crafted with Cointreau, Queer Eye's resident foodie, Antoni Porowski, has shared his go-to recipe for the ultimate margarita. A step beyond the traditional Mexican cocktail, Porowski's recipe has a twist.

It includes homemade simple jalapeño syrup, a concoction of sugar, water, and jalapeños. Here's how to make Antoni Porowski's "Hot and Antoni Margarita."
