Baby Talk: Kristen Bell

Actress Kristen Bell is nothing if not versatile: whether channeling morality-light management consultant Jeannie Van Der Hooven in her satirical Showtime series House of Lies, sending up starlets as a self-obsessed actress in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, or launching a pop culture catchphrase merely by uttering Gossip Girl's infamous "xoxo." And of course, who could forget the character that started it all: the unsinkable teenage private eye Veronica Mars, who will be given the big-screen treatment in an upcoming feature film, thanks to Bell's Kickstarter fundraising efforts with series creator Rob Thomas. But it's her role as mom to one-month-old baby girl Lincoln with her fiancé, actor Dax Shepard, that may be her most demanding. We asked the irresistible funny girl, who will reprise her hosting duties for the CMT Music Awards on June 5, to fill us in on the must-haves she holds dear.
