Most furniture and home decor retailers do have sales throughout the year, so keep an eye on your favorites. According to Johnston, most people cook more in the colder months which means fall is a great time to invest in updating your kitchen, be it through appliances, hardware, or kitchen decor. It’s also an opportune time for a bedroom or living-space refresh, so look for new blankets, pillows, and other tactile items to make a room feel more inviting.
