"Recently, I decided it was time to invest in a proper shower curtain. I wanted something well-made and classic that would keep my bathroom feeling light and open. This shower curtain is exactly what I needed. My husband loves it so much, he insisted that I purchase a second one for when it's time to swap the current one out. I guess he's afraid it will be discontinued or something. So now I have an extra one sitting in the linen closet for when it's time for a refresh. That's how much we love our new shower curtain!" — Mélanie Berliet, general manager
"Our dog has never really been big on pet beds—she prefers to use our throw pillows and blankets instead. Ordinarily, this isn’t an issue, but since we’ve been spending so much time at home my husband and I wanted to reclaim some couch space for ourselves. At the recommendation of some colleagues, I purchased this cozy, donut-shaped dog bed and was happy to find that Kaylee quickly took to it. She’ll often choose to sleep on her bed instead of the couch, giving us some much-needed legroom. I’m even considering getting a second bed for my home office (what can I say, she’s spoiled!) so she has even more options to snooze on." — Allison Bean, editorial director
"My husband and I moved into a new apartment well over a year ago and have yet to hang anything on our walls. The artwork from our previous apartment (think: framed concert posters and comic book-inspired prints) feels a bit juvenile and out of step with our current life stage. I was searching for sources for affordable art, and I was drawn to the works featured on Tappan, an online gallery featuring the works of emerging and career artists. Their extensive collection includes textiles, sculptures, paintings, photographs and more, with prices ranging from $50 to $25,000. With thousands of options in the $100-$400 range, there are plenty of beautiful pieces to bring life and color into your space. As for me, I opted for “Untitled VIII (Joshua Tree)” by Gia Coppola, a dreamy, ethereal photograph I plan to hang above my desk." — Allison Bean, editorial director
"Every year as the weather changes and the days become shorter my old friend SAD (otherwise known as seasonal affective disorder, a type of depression brought on by the changing of seasons) makes its way back into my life. This little therapy light has been a total game changer though. It mimics sunlight and gives me a much needed boost of energy. I sit with my HappyLight for an hour each morning and feel a marked improvement on my mood and focus." — Bridget Mallon, associate editorial director
"Let's just say 2020 hasn't been the best for my beauty routine. Most days I slap some moisturizer on and call it a day, but I recently picked up a fresh tube of my favorite mascara and I'm so happy I did. Just a few swipes on each eye make my lashes dark, long, full, and lifted (what more could you want?). Wearing just a touch of makeup also makes me feel much more put together for my Zoom meetings." — Bridget Mallon, associate editorial director
"Travel may not be on the docket just yet, but when I do take my next vacation, this Parachute travel kit will be the first thing I pack. It features a soft blanket and matching eye mask that fit perfectly into their compact bag. I imagine this will come in handy for any red eye flights, long car trips, or even for a quick nap at the hotel or airbnb." — Bridget Mallon, associate editorial director
"Dairy and I don't always mix well, so when dairy-free milk alternatives emerged a few years ago, I was elated to try them all. In my honest opinion, I don't think some milk alternatives taste all that great. Oat milk is my personal favorite, but I'm still always interested in experimenting with other brands, and was so intrigued when I saw pistachio milk. Pistachios are one of my favorite nuts, so I knew this had to be good, and I was right. The flavor is very subtle but still creamy enough to where it doesn't feel like you just added water to your coffee. Major points on the beautiful packaging as well." — Kim Carvalho, associate social media editor
"Cozy season is among us, and there isn't really anything better than cozying up under a warm (and beautiful) quilt. This one from Parachute has been my go-to this season, and I already have plans to gift them to a few loved ones this Christmas because I adore it so much." — Kim Carvalho, associate social media editor
"I'm pretty picky when it comes to candle scents. Anything too sweet tends to give me a headache, and anything too strong tends to overwhelm my tiny apartment. This limited edition candle from cool-girl skincare brand Supernal blends the light and airy fragrances of California lemon, sweet bergamot, and petitgrain with deep notes of fir needle, cedarwood, chamomile, and pine for a candle that's equal parts fresh and grounded. It's totally dreamy." — Caroline Utz, associate editor
"The hype around this sheet pan is so real. If you've ever baked sugar cookies, you know how hard it is to achieve those elusive golden-brown bottoms without burning the cookies. So far, every batch I've made since I got the Holy Sheet Pan has been perfect. I wish I could attribute it to my baking prowess, but I know it's the pan. Plus, the color just makes me happy." — Karli Bendlin, email editor
"Like so many people, I’ve been updating my home in 2020. One of my biggest projects has been redoing my entryway to bring in more warmth and to up the coziness factor. These shelves became the focal point, along with the mirror around which they are arranged. Some carefully curated decor pieces were the finishing touches. These shelves look amazing!" — Ginger Cowles, senior editor, The Spruce
"One of my least favorite things is chapped lips. I started using this lip scrub as part of my morning skin care routine and it always leaves my lips feeling smooth and nourished. It tastes pretty delicious too, which is an added bonus, and since it's made with all-natural ingredients and is certified organic, I'm okay with "accidentally" tasting a bit!" — Amy Cooper, photo editor
"I love painting my nails, but I never make it all the way through a bottle of nail polish, and I find it really hard to just pick one color when I'm shopping. So when I stumbled on this cute sampler palette from Static Nails, I fell in love. This set of eight cozy colors comes in mini bottles that will definitely last through a handful of polish changes, and getting so many cute shades let me try out the ombre nail trend I've been seeing all over Instagram without feeling like I'm wasting product." — Kate Geraghty, commerce editor
"When it came to buying an electric kettle, I wanted something that looked good, heated up quickly, and would help me brew the perfect cup—and I found it. Not only does this matte black electric kettle look great, it takes under 5 minutes to bring my water to a boil in the morning, and it's compact size is perfect for two cups. It also has settings for green tea and coffee, which don't require water that's quite as hot." — Kate Geraghty, commerce editor
"I’m a sucker for anything soft and warm, so naturally these socks have been in steady rotation this month. The thick fabric allows them to double as slippers (who doesn’t love a good pair of slipper socks), and the neutral color palette is versatile and pretty. If neutrals aren’t your thing, these cozy socks are also available in a festive red plaid." — Katherine Louie, commerce editor
"My previous bedroom was tiny and had zero natural light, which meant the walls and most of the decor had to be white, otherwise it felt cramped and dark. My new bedroom couldn't be more different, and my white sheets ended up making the large, bright room feel bare. I'd had my eye on this terra cotta linen duvet set for a while, and with a long winter ahead, I finally decided to treat myself. Not only do they add warmth and color to the room, they're also incredibly cozy and soft." — Kate McKenna, email editor, The Spruce
"My husband and I are both hot sleepers, no matter what time of year it is—probably not helped by our synthetic duvet. I read a lot of reviews of duvet inserts in varying price points, and although I hadn't planned on dropping quite so much money on one, the Buffy Cloud Comforter ended up being a great investment. It's super soft (so you could even use it without a duvet cover) and it's just the right combination of fluffy, cozy, and light. It keeps us warm on cold nights and noticeably cooler when it's mild." — Kate McKenna, email editor, The Spruce
"This candle smells exactly like the holidays. Since this is a weird year I wanted to feel festive even earlier than usual, so I started burning this in early November. Lighting this while watching a Christmas movie makes for an instantly perfect cozy night in." — Emma Glubiak, social media editor, The Spruce
"These leggings feel like they are double the price, but that's what I love so much about Aerie as a brand. They make high-quality clothes that become staples, and these are definitely my favorite pairs of leggings for working out—and working from home." — Mia Ingui, editorial assistant
"My all-time favorite perfume is this scent by Jo Malone London, who makes the most unique and high quality fragrances well worth the splurge. Since I spend so much time in my office lately and love having a candle burning, I treated myself to this as an early Christmas present." — Mia Ingui, editorial assistant
