"The most meaningful pieces that my husband and I added to our space this year are these two framed architectural prints of a house that my dad designed during his time as a student. "Weekend Retreat" represents not only the creativity my father demonstrated as a young man, but also the lifestyle that he worked so hard to give my sister and I—the same one that my husband and I will work to give our future family. My dad is embarrassed to see his work on our walls, but I know inside he's also proud—just as proud as I am of his hard work and life accomplishments."
"I can't get enough bamboo (and was tired of having any 7th guest sit in an armchair pulled up to my dining room table during a dinner party), so when a neighbor posted four of these on Facebook Marketplace for $35 for the set, I sent my husband over to grab them the same day. They're more stylish than metal and much more sturdy than plastic. And they don't even look bad folded up in the corner of my living room while they wait for their moment to shine."
"Another functional addition to my space, these nesting tables complement the seating situation in my living room without adding the extra weight of wood, metal or color to my already maxed-out layout. They also add a touch of modernity, which is nice next to the vintage pieces that dot the room like my mid-century credenza and bar, TV table, and lighting."

"This year, my main decorating goal was to turn my bedroom into a true sanctuary, and it all started when I upgraded from a full bed to a queen. After dropping a considerable amount on a new mattress, I knew I needed to find an affordable option when it came to the bed frame—but I also wanted to avoid the cheap metal versions that never really feel stable. Enter Zinus: The direct-to-consumer brand offers wildly affordable flat pack furniture for bedrooms and living rooms, including an assortment of seriously stylish platform beds. I went with the Lottie, and after 8 months with it I couldn't be happier. It's sleek yet sturdy and was an absolute breeze to put together (by myself I might add). Truly the stuff of sweet dreams."
"I've been a huge proponent of lumbar pillows for years. They're the easiest way to make a bed feel styled without piling on pillow after pillow—it's one and done with these guys. But The Citizenry's cult-favorite lumbar pillows are in a league of their own, and this was the year I finally made one mine after years of coveting from afar. I went with classic black-and-white—my decorating palette has always veered neutral and minimal—and it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces ever. The pillows are handwoven and naturally dyed by artisans in Oaxaca, and the quality is extraordinary. I don't think I've ever received so many compliments on a pillow before!"
"These stylish brackets are truly a lifesaver if you want the elevated look that comes with real curtain rods as opposed to tension rods, but need to avoid drilling into your wall as well. These brackets are simply nailed into the outside of your wooden window frame, so your curtain still hangs stylishly, but you don't have to worry about measuring, leveling, drilling, or spending more than five minutes on the project. I went with the gold finish, but they offer four other options to match your personal aesthetic."

"I'm obsessed with my new H by Frette sheets. For years I've only slept on linen sheets because I thought they were the only breathable sheets I could I find (I'm a night sweat-er who shares a bed with a man and a dog, so things get toasty!) but these percale sheets are super breathable and also feel extremely high quality. They're the same sheets that are in some of the most luxe hotels in the world (Aman and Shangri La to name a few...), so I feel like I'm sleeping in a fancy hotel bed every night."
"If you follow MyDomaine on Instagram, you know I'm a huge fan of this brand. The dishes are modern and minimal and incredibly high-quality. They can be mixed and matched to add some personality to your table, or you can go all in on one shade to keep things monochrome."
"I've had my eyes on this weighted blanket for months and I finally got my hands on The Napper. I'm truly obsessed with this blanket—it's a perfect weight and makes me feel super relaxed when I'm curling up under it on my couch. It also happens to look extremely chic when not in use which is a win-win."

"My Nespresso Milk Frother is one of my favorite items in my kitchen, ever. I'm not a huge coffee person, so when I put this on my wedding registry, I questioned if this was going to be one of those items that I add to the list and never used—I was thankfully wrong. Having an afternoon coffee with the frothiest oat milk or making the creamiest and most delicious hot cocoa during the holidays makes those simple drinks taste so much better."
"I got my Vitruvi essential oil diffuser for my birthday in January, and I've been loving it so much that I went ahead and bought another one for my bedroom. Nothing makes me happier than a nicely scented home, and this diffuser makes every little corner of my apartment smell so fresh and clean. It also doesn't hurt that it's sleek and minimal and matches perfectly with the natural but modern aesthetic I usually go for in my interiors. The brand also makes some incredible oils, and I don't think I could live without their Pacific and Dusk blends."
"I've always loved an electric toothbrush, and I convinced myself from a young age that if the toothbrush isn't vibrating or moving, my teeth won't be clean. Quip embodies a very normal toothbrush shape and does the job way better than it's non-electric counterparts, and to make things even better, it's really pretty to look at. I have the gold one and don't think I'll switch back to a regular toothbrush for a very long time."

"Stoneware & Co., previously known as Louisville Stoneware, is a Kentucky institution. My mom owned a lot of their classic patterns (like the iconic Bachelor Button motif) when I was growing up—and the artistry and passion put into this pottery hasn't lessened since the brand began in the 1800s. My mom gifted me this serving bowl from one of their new collections, and it's one of my favorite pieces in my apartment. It's instantly classic, gorgeously handmade, and it's been used to hold everything from my collection of wine corks to fresh produce. I can't wait to add more pieces from the Louisville Pottery Collection to my home."
"Ok, I know I already covered this new cookware launch, but I seriously cannot get enough of this brand. Since I last wrote about it, I've used one of these pots or pans nearly every night of the week. My stove had previously seen little to no action, and now I'm whipping up homemade sweet potato and sage gnocchi and other tasty dishes on the regular. Plus the non-stick pans are so easy to clean, I almost forget I don't have a dishwasher."
"I love a good bathrobe. Everyone should own one. If you're in the market, look no further than the Allswell Stonewashed Waffle Bathrobe. The robe is super comfortable and is the perfect weight—not too heavy, not too light. And you can purchase matching slippers for the perfect weekend at-home brunch look."

"I want to start off by saying, I was skeptical that a mattress would really make a difference in the way I slept. However, after trying the Leesa Hybrid, I realized I just didn’t have a mattress that addressed my needs. In the past I’d chosen foam mattresses, fearing that coils and springs were too stiff and old-fashioned for me. But after a couple of months on foam, I felt like I was sinking in, which isn’t exactly comfortable for a side sleeper. When I got the chance to test the Leesa, I was positive that I would have the same problems as before, but once I realized that it had the plush foam on top and the support of coils below, I was intrigued. The first night I slept on it I noticed a difference. Not only was it comfortable to sleep on my side, but I didn’t wake up to toss and turn. Over time I was pleased to find it didn’t try to consume me in the way that my old foam mattress did. My boyfriend is also onboard because The Hybrid provides the perfect amount of support for his lower back problems—it’s cushy yet firm, the best of both worlds.
Another one of my main concerns while sleeping is that I tend to get really hot but also need to have a blanket over me all night. I was just about to start my search for a cooling blanket until I realized that this was something that the Leesa Hybrid could solve for me too. The Cooling Foam Top really really works. I haven’t woken up sweaty once, which is honestly a really big deal and a HUGE plus for me."
"These sheets have made a huge difference in the way I sleep. They are soft without being flannel or fuzzy, and strong without being stiff and starchy. What really attracted me to this set was the solid colors they come in. I’ve been making an effort to branch out from plain stark white, and the ivory color mine came in are totally timeless. Over the holidays I have a bunch of family visiting and you better believe I’m going to make my bed in a way that shows off these sheets, because what says, “I have my life together” more than a beautiful set of sheets?"
