Method Rosemary Dish Soap
"Spending more time at home means my pots, pans, and cooking utensils are getting put to use a lot more frequently. And more cooking also means more cleaning, so I've been scrubbing down my kitchenware more often than usual. Having a dish soap that I actually find aesthetically pleasing has been a huge help in making my time at the sink a little more enjoyable. The bottle's matte, mint green hue is so chic I picked up the matching hand soap too. My kitchen sink has never looked more stylish."
Pacifica Dream Sleep Beauty Gummy Beauty Sleep Support
"I don't know about anyone else, but getting to sleep has felt incredibly difficult these past few weeks. Granted, I've always naturally erred on the 'night owl' side of life, but March felt like a whole different ball game. Instead of staying up a little too late to fit in one last episode of '30 Rock,' I've been tossing and turning for what feels like hours, unable to relax and drift off. On those really bad nights I turn to these sleep-promoting melatonin gummies, which help quiet my mind and make it possible to get a solid night of sleep."
Ugg Oh Yeah Slippers
"Working from home means all of my loungewear is seeing the light of day a lot more often than it used to. And slippers have become the only footwear I ever really wear. I have a few pairs that I alternate between, but this open-toed option from Ugg has quickly become my favorite. I feel like I'm walking around on a literal cloud, and the strap at the back keeps my feet from slipping out. And while I do miss my collection of combat boots, these ultra cozy slippers will be hard to give up when we get back to the office. I just might have to pick up a second pair to keep at my desk."

Equal Parts Pots and Pans Set
"Because I've been spending the majority of my day at home, I've been cooking and baking a lot. These pans have really made cooking more seamless for me, and the Equal Parts stockpot has been large enough to make all kinds of delicious concoctions of soups and stews. Cleanup is also a breeze with this pan set, which is ideal, because who wants to spend their extra free time cleaning? Definitely not me!"
Tronco 20oz Glass Tumbler
"A goal of mine being at home is to drink more water and really focus on staying hydrated all day long. I got this water bottle on Amazon last year, and it's been my go-to this month. I normally would choose something with a very sturdy lid to make sure nothing spills while I'm out and about, but there's something really nice about being at home and drinking out of a straw. Fill this bottle with other beverages like iced coffee or a smoothie, and it'll feel like you just grabbed your drink of choice from your favorite spot."
Glass Spice Jars
"I've been getting into more home projects that I've been putting off, and one thing I wanted to do this quarantine is organize my very small pantry. My first step was filling these spice jars with the assorted spices I already had, and then organizing them in a single section. Not only did this save a ton of space in my pantry, but I also really love how they look."

Lululemon The Reversible Mat 3mm
"I never thought I'd be one to say this, but in the past year or so, I've found my calm through regular exercise. I still don't run very fast, and I'm pretty sure a pullup isn't in my future, but keeping my body moving has really helped me manage my stress. Since I can't make it to the gym right now, this mat has been a godsend. It's the perfect thickness for any workout, plus it stays grippy enough that my hands don't slide around when I'm trying to hold a downward dog."
Franny & Zooey by J.D. Salinger
"Though I love a new read, lately I've been turning to books that are forever favorites. This novel (well, two connected short stories really) is a beautiful and thought-provoking coming-of-age story that I find myself re-reading every few years. Plus, if you're having trouble focusing during this time, this book is short enough to keep your attention."

Mini Hot Melt Glue Gun
"This little glue gun is a dream for parents trying to distract their kids with crafts. Most recently, my daughter and I used this glue gun to create our very own 'Forkie' after watching Toy Story 4. I highly suggest owning a glue gun, especially while we're all trying to find clever ways to keep ourselves and our children entertained. It takes your crafting game to the next level automatically!"
Black + Decker D3030 Allure Professional Steam Iron
"I owned the same iron for 15 years—since outfitting my very first studio apartment with household necessities in the aughts, to be exact. Well, she finally died last week. In search of a replacement, I was forced to acquaint myself with all of the new offerings in the iron space. So many options seemed overly spaceship-y, or just clunky and ugly. This one spoke to me, and it brings me comfort to know that I can iron the wrinkles out of my clothing, even if we're not leaving the house regularly."
Allison Bean, editorial director
"This year, my husband and I made a commitment to take better care of ourselves, which meant, in part, we needed to get off the couch and commit to an exercise routine. After lots of back and forth and pro/con lists, we decided to forgo the usual gym membership and instead purchased a Peloton. It very quickly became a central part of our day-to-day and inspired quite a bit of healthy (pun!) competition between the two of us. Now that we're under stay-at-home orders, it's a relief to have fitness equipment (and a stress outlet!) close at hand. In addition to incredibly challenging spin classes, the Peloton app offers yoga, meditation, strength training, and other fitness classes, all helmed by upbeat, encouraging instructors."

Dash Popcorn Maker
"I received this popcorn maker as a gift over the holidays and finally tried it out last month when the quarantine woes were really hitting. I assumed it would be the kind of gadget I tried once before losing the parts and banishing it to the back of a cabinet—I couldn’t have been more wrong. Watching a small cup of kernels transform into a giant bowl of freshly popped popcorn has become an unexpected source of joy for me (it’s a weird time, okay?). It gives me the satisfaction of making something, but takes less than five minutes and requires no cleanup. I’ve also been experimenting with adding different ingredients (freshly grated parmesan, chocolate chips) to the finished product, which I highly recommend."
Moleskin Classic Notebook
"I never realized how much I relied on my written to-do list to keep me organized until I was without my notebook when WFH. After a few days of swearing to myself that I could mentally remember everything (I couldn’t), I finally caved and purchased a classic Moleskine online. I’d forgotten how luxurious these simple notebooks can feel (especially when I’ve been using the backs of receipts to scribble things down). Listing everything I need to do on a fresh page each day is really helping me find some calm in this chaos, and crossing things I’ve completed off is giving me a much-needed sense of accomplishment in these helpless-feeling times."
"At this point, the family members I’m quarantining with know it’s only a matter of time before I pull out this banana pouch every night. I have become slightly obsessed with playing Bananagrams (which I can best describe as a simplified, faster version of Scrabble) while stuck in the house. It’s engaging enough to take my mind off the news cycle for a little bit, but doesn’t require any major setup or instructions."
Jamie Abarca, editorial project coordinator for The Spruce
"Does stress lead to acne? Or are my hormones triggered by stress...and then trigger acne? Regardless, these star shaped acne patches keep me from touching my face. And my two year old loves to point out my bright yellow sticker—healing AND educational!"

Parachute Waffle Robe
"I'm a bathrobe person. I won't put on a sweater at home, I put on my robe. Since working from home, I try to make a point to only put it on during non-work hours so there's some decorum to my work day. This robe from Parachute was worth the price tag. I wear it year round; it seems to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer and is always very cozy."
"I bought a bunch of these pretty pens for a photo shoot months ago, and I'm obsessed now. I love the way they write. I make a lot of to-do lists in general, but when my mind seems extra scattered like it has been the last few weeks, keepings lists and writing things down has been the best thing to keep me focused."
Jiffy Professional Greenhouse Starter Kit
"My mom and I started a tradition of going plant shopping in the spring. It doesn't look like we'll get to do that this year and I'm so bummed about it! I found these seed starting trays at Home Depot and bought a bunch of seed packets. It's the most gratifying thing to watch them sprout!"
