Our residences are often filled with chemicals that we don't give a second thought. A few common types like formaldehyde (found in household products and building supplies), benzene (in plastics and resins), and trichloroethylene (in adhesives), may make their way into the air. Greenery can add balance, and these air-purifying indoor plants are known for clearing chemical agents with effectiveness.
