Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale is a bi-annual event that gives shoppers the chance to shop Nordstrom's amazing product selection at up to 50 percent off.

When is the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale? 

The Half Yearly Sale beings on May 26 and wraps on June 6. While 12 days may seem like a wide window, it’s best to shop early if you want to score what's on your wishlist before it's gone. 

Nordstrom typically has two half yearly sales a year, one taking place right around the new year, and the other in late spring, making it the perfect opportunity to get prepped for summer.

What's the difference between the Half Yearly Sale and the Anniversary Sale? 

While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is often touted as Nordstrom's biggest (and best) sale of the year, Nordstrom has multiple noteworthy sales each year, two of which are the Half Yearly Sales.

Unlike the Anniversary Sale, the Half Yearly sales offer less preview and pre-sale options to insiders, so you'll have to wait until the sale launches to start shopping. But, like the anniversary sale, hundreds of items across every department are discounted, typically upwards of 30-50 percent off the original price. And although being a Nordy Club member and card-carrier lets you get early access to the Anniversary Sale, the same doesn’t apply here.

What Usually Goes On Sale? 

In short, just about everything! You can expect to shop hundreds of Nordstrom favorites on sale, from apparel and fashion, to beauty and home decor. 

If you have any favorite Nordstrom items or decor pieces on your list, this sale is the perfect chance to grab them at a fraction of the cost. But since the sale is not yet underway, we don’t know exactly what will be discounted come May 26. In the meantime, we recommend bookmarking things you love to score them before they sell out.

Here are the Nordstrom items you should look out for:

Home Decor: Shop decor favorites from luxe cheese boards and oil diffusers to candles and decorative placemats. You'll find discounts on big-name brands like Rabbit, Voluspa, and more. Whether it's for your coffee table, bookcase, or credenza—you're bound to find something to fit your space.

Bedding: With summer around the corner, this sale is the perfect chance to swap out your bedding for a lighter option. Shop soft sheets, cozy pillows, and silk pillowcases for less during this sale.

Kitchen Goods: Stock up on kitchen must-haves from fry pans and dutch ovens, to small appliances and barware. You'll nab items from Le Creuset, All-Clad, and Vitamix at a fraction of the cost.

Keep in mind the Half Yearly sale does not include Nordstrom Rack. But don't fret—Nordstrom Rack often holds plenty of its own sales and has much wider clearance sections to begin with, so you'll also find great discounts there as well.
