Listen Up: The 14 Best Parenting Podcasts to Add to Your List

Updated 11/14/19
Amy Parker Anderson

According to a study by Edison Research and Triton Digital, six million more Americans listened to podcasts weekly in 2018 versus 2017. That accounts for about 48 million people, an eyebrow-raising number on its own, but it's also interesting that the increase is mostly coming from women. Although there are plenty of different subjects to choose from, parenting podcasts are becoming increasingly popular.

We scoured all the podcasts out there to find the most entertaining, informative, and inspirational ones on the topic of raising children. We also tapped supermom Amy Parker Anderson, a Warby Parker exec and creator of the lifestyle site Parker Etc., to share some of her top picks with us. Amy is mom to 5-year-old Parker and 2-year-old Sydney Sloane and calls Nashville and New York City home.

Podcasts are a wealth of knowledge, and it all feels like it's coming from a conversation you're just sitting in on.

Anderson says, "Some feel like an intimate conversation with a friend, while others are informative. And some grab your attention like a good novel you just can't quit...Podcasts are a wealth of knowledge, and it all feels like it's coming from a conversation you're just sitting in on. With the little free time we have as mothers, it's a great resource, and we can always pick up where we left off."

Whether you're a working, stay-at-home, or somewhere in between mom, you'll find something you'll love in our list of the 15 best parenting podcasts below.
