It's hard to know the ins and outs of a company until you begin working there, but sites like Glassdoor tap current and past employees to get the inside scoop and share the intel with prospective hires. Each year, the platform rounds up the best places to work, according to employees, and this year's list comprises the usual suspects plus some surprising names. Whether you're dissatisfied with your job and interested in seeing where it might be worth making a switch or you're just curious to see who loves their job as much as you love yours, it's worth taking a peak at the rankings.
Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, comes in at number one, followed by Facebook. Boston Consulting Group beats out Google, coming in at number three and four, respectively; and World Wide Technology, a tech integrator, comes in at number five. Other names on the list worth noting are In-N-Out Burger at number seven and LinkedIn closely following at number eight. A lot of the list includes companies within the tech industry, but airlines, food services, and home products make the list too.
