Finding the right nursery décor that fits both your personal style and will create a welcoming environment for your little one can be a challenging design task. Do you go for calming neutrals, traditional color schemes, or something entirely unique? Los Angeles–based health and wellness expert Sophie Jaffe recently set out to transform her two young boys' playroom into a fresh nursery with positive energy for her new baby girl with the help of virtual decorating platform Hutch.
The space is now filled with beautiful plants, crystals, and natural elements to curate the right energy Jaffe was looking for in this decidedly boho nursery. "We wanted to incorporate living elements into the space, like plants, crystals, and flowers—this was important because it allows the energy in the room to be more alive," she says. Among the crystals are rose quartz pieces, which Jaffe explains are good for love and femininity, two aspects she's hoping to foster in her daughter's first room.

A white crib is surrounded by plants, a macramé hanging, and a sweet lamb rocker create the perfect space for Jaffe's newest addition to her family.
This blush dresser is as adorable as it is functional. The color fits wonderfully with the rest of the muted toned and expressive patterns and textures.
The small details really make all the difference in this boho nursery. A feather mobile hangs above quirky artwork, a large crystal, and more plants. "Bringing in natural elements like crystals help clear any negative or stagnant energy," says Jaffe.
This little nook is perfect for mother-daughter bonding time, and the varying textures of the rug, jute pouf, and chair add another layer of design to the space. "It feels kind of earthy and natural while also being chic," Jaffe says.
"I specifically incorporated rose quartz, which is really good for love and femininity, and it's sitting right by the glider, so when I'm breastfeeding, it will constantly remind me of those qualities," Jaffe says.
The space is all tied together with a colorful woven patterned rug. The partially jute material goes perfectly with the boho jute pouf in the corner of the room and the fringed macramé wall hanging above the crib.
A cozy sleeping spot for a newborn (just look at that adorable lamb rocker). "Everything came together and just feels perfect," says Jaffe.
This modern light from Article stands perfectly above the Babyletto crib. Although it's not as boho as the rest of the décor, it fits in quite nicely in this corner.
Whatboho nursery would be complete with an ornate macramé hanging? "The handmade macramé makes the space feel more personal and was the perfect soft element to hang by the crib," Jaffe says. Plus, the flowers incorporated into the wall hanging are the perfect bohemian touch.
Finally, a subdued patterned wallpaper completes the space. It's just the right amount of playful and sophisticated.
We hope you're inspired by this boho nursery décor to create the perfect space for your little one at home.
