Get the Look: A Pastel Lounge With a Hint of Rock 'n' Roll

Along with four other designers from around the country, interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn was invited by Sunbrella to take on a dream project. "Our imaginary client would let us do whatever we wanted, pretty much no constraints creatively," he says. For the Sunbrella Perspective New York project, Flynn created an all-pastel room inspired by one of his all-time favorite movie sets, Down With Love (starring Renee Zellwegger), using Sunbrella fabrics. "I've always wanted to do something like it," he says, "and since our objective was to do something really high-end and original that may be too risky or conceptual for an actual client, this was my chance." Flynn married the film's look "with more of a street art vibe and the confident, flirty feeling of Julianne Moore's character's house in A Single Man."
