Brooklinen Brooklittles baby in crib

While Brooklinen has offered children's bedding in the past, the relaunch of its Brooklittles line for babies and toddlers has made some very different changes based on the Broooklinen's co-founders experience of raising a youngster.

"Our initial collection was designed and developed while (co-founder) Rich and I were planning for our first baby but did not have him in our lives just yet," explained Vicki Fulop, Brooklinen's co-founder and CCO to MyDomaine. "Once he was born, we began learning on the job and wanted to redesign and refabricate the offerings based on those learnings and experiences. There’s really nothing like the real thing, and so we’ve redeveloped our products to be our best version yet for life with a baby!"

The key material change to the collection is the swap from luxe sateen to percale weave.

“After having our son, we realized that his sheets are getting washed constantly —you’re through 10 washes by week two of being a mom!— and knew that our Classic Percale weave, which is super durable and gets better and softer for each wash, would be perfect for this relaunch," Fulop said.

The swaddles were also reformulated with a little less stretch so your baby stays safe and bundled, while also remaining soft and durable for constant use, whether as a swaddle, stroller or nursing cover, or burp cloth if need be.

You'll find a big departure from Brooklinen's muted core collection here with more vibrant prints and colors that will add fun to their bedroom. "We wanted to have both maximalist conversational and some abstract, neutral prints to meet different aesthetics and allow our customers to mix-and-match to suit their personal styles," Fulop said. The colors all play well together so you can use them all together to create an energetic and colorful vibe, or just one or two, for something tranquil and monochromatic."

The new collection includes crib sheets, sheet sets, quilts, and baby swaddles. Items are sold individually or in bundles, which make outfitting a nursery a breeze for parents-to-be.
