Karlie Kloss opened the Carolina Herrera show Monday morning at New York Fashion Week in an all-black-everything ensemble, and although the look was über-chic, we weren't wowed. Not until look four came down the runway did we see Carolina's potential to blow us away. Her introductions of marbleized kaleidoscope prints was a breath of fresh air and reminded us of one of our favorite textile designers at the moment: Carley Kahn. The two seem to be riding the same wavelength, drinking the same Kool-aid, or picking up on the same trend; however you want to put it. Geometric prints are clearly in, but if you aren't in the position to wear off-the-runway fashion, toss one of Carley's cushions onto your sofa. But do so quickly - they just went on sale!
