It seems that every day new technology is unveiled that leads us farther into a futuristic reality that was only ever before imagined by science-fiction writers. MyDomaine has been on the ground at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and it's clear that homes are only going to continue getting smarter. This year was all about integrating voice-command technology (like Google Assistant) into pretty much any kind of home device you can think of, from light switches to thermostats. There were also plenty of other innovative smart home electronics that you'll want to keep your eye on in the future.

Whirlpool is revolutionizing smart fridge technologies with its newest designs that sync with Yummly, an app that has everything from personalized recipe recommendations to ingredient recognition technology at the tap of a button.

LG is changing the way we watch TV. It showcased a new OLED Wallpaper TV that's seriously as thin as wallpaper, as well as TVs with Google Assistant built in.
