Variety is reporting that Academy Award–winning actress Charlize Theron has sold her penthouse apartment. The stunning space at the Broadway Hollywood Lofts building in downtown Hollywood sold for $1.75 million, a loss on the more than $2.75 million the South African beauty originally paid for it. The one-bedroom, 2350-square-foot space has two bathrooms, high ceilings, exposed duct work, floor-to-ceiling windows, a stainless steel kitchen, and ebony hardwood floors. The Renaissance-style building was originally a department store, built in 1927. Theron has several other properties, so it’s hard to tell if she actually spent much time living in the two-story loft with a roof deck and views of Los Angeles’s glittering skyline. Charlize Theron starred in Mad Max: Fury Road, which is nominated for best picture at this weekend’s Oscars. Watch it today!
