Piazza suggests leaning toward upholstered frames, as there are a lot of inexpensive options that look nearly identical to those that cost in the thousands. “If you do your homework, there’s a lot of great upholstered headboards with frames at discounted prices on sites like Wayfair, Overstock, and even Amazon,” she says.
