Thanks to an elusive "error fare," you can currently book a round-trip flight to New Zealand for just $239, Travel + Leisure reports. Considering a flight to the remote country will normally run you a minimum of $1000, this is a steal you don't want to pass up.
Spotted this afternoon by The Airfare Spot, the deal applies to all Auckland-bound flights from major U.S. cities, including New Orleans, Austin, Portland, New York City, and more. Atlanta-based travelers can score the cheapest round-trip tickets, coming out to just $239 apiece.
The travel magazine does note that since "mistake fares like these can disappear as soon as the airlines notice, don't spend too long deciding whether or not you want to visit New Zealand this year." To that end, airlines reserve the right to not honor error fares, so don't book hotel accommodations or other travel plans until your reservation has been formally ticketed.
The publication recommends using Google Flights to find the most inexpensive travel dates from your departure city. Finally, use an online travel agency to book your reservation. Head over to Travel + Leisure for more.
