Experience

Cherisse earned a Fulbright Scholarship during her sophomore year of college, which allowed her to travel to the Netherlands, Paris, and Spain to further develop her writing skills. She has fact-checked multiple publications, including Refinery29, InStyle, and the New York Times. When she's not writing, she is a mom, an elementary education teacher and an online English language teacher.

Education

Cherisse received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University and two master's degrees: one in English Writing and one in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport.
