Pinterest's Most Popular Fourth of July Recipe Requires Zero Cooking Skills

Fourth of July is fast approaching, and if you haven't planned how you'll celebrate this year, we've got just the thing. Pinterest recently released a list of its most popular patriotic recipes, and the dessert that took out the number one spot is surprisingly easy to make. 

Buzzed Cherry Bombs scored a whopping 171,000 saves from Pinterest users, and we can see why. The boozy creation by Frosting and a Smile requires zero cooking skills. Colored rice krispie bites came in second with 155,000 saves, followed by dipped pretzels at 134,000, and fireworks pudding cookies at 86,000. 

Whether you're throwing a party or celebrating with a few close friends, this Buzzed Cherry Bomb recipe is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Buzzed Cherry Bombs


10-ounce jar maraschino cherries
1 cup vanilla vodka
1 cup melted vanilla chips
1/2 cup blue sugar sprinkles

Drain juice from cherries. Pour vodka over cherries in a jar and let sit for 12 to 48 hours. 

Gently pat cherries dry to remove excess liquid. Melt the white chocolate chips and dip the bottom of the cherry until 2/3 is covered.
