Today marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year and to celebrate the occasion, event designer extraordinaire Bronson van Wyck shared some
fun ideas for a festive dinner party on his blog on
ArchitecturalDigest.com.

Centered around a red theme (the standard color used by the Chinese people to celebrate the occasion) Van Wyck encourages use of paper lanterns, festive garlands, and elaborate floral arrangements to ring in the year of the horse. Incorporating traditional elements like dragons and sparklers round out his thoughtful suggestions.
