If there's one thing television host, cookbook author, and Twitter extraordinaire Chrissy Teigen is known for, it's her (often hilarious) honesty. In addition to graciously sharing pieces of her life through her wildly popular social media channels, the soon-to-be mom of two recently opened up to The Cut about one thing all parents can relate to: changing diapers. With an almost-2-year-old daughter named Luna, Teigen is no stranger to diapers. In fact, she's now the creative consultant for Pampers Pure, a new line of diapers designed with adorable prints, making her somewhat of an expert on the subject.
But like all parents, she's experienced her fair share of diaper mishaps.
In an interview with The Cut, Teigen shared the hilariously tragic tale of the craziest place she ever changed a diaper, which happened to be on the floor of a baseball stadium. "I'd say any time you have to do it on the floor anywhere, it feels extra sad," she says. "I felt so bad. I laid down my coat and my coat got all poopy." That's the kind of sacrifice mothers make. While she clearly has experience in this area, Teigen admits she doesn't know it all. "I'm learning like, obviously don't change a baby on the tray table of an airplane seat," she says.
Luckily, Teigen will have plenty more practice with baby number two on the way. She's expecting a boy this June.
