Los Angeles–based design studio Commune is one of our favorite design firms—it nails “California eclectic” oh so very well, time and time again. The firm has dreamed up the interiors of some of our favorite spaces: Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs; The Durham Hotel in Durham, North Carolina; Farmshop in Brentwood and Marin, California… the list goes on. Needless to say, when we discovered the firm's latest residential project—a two-story apartment in Paris—we jumped for joy.
Though the space is true to the firm’s aesthetic, it also has a distinctly Parisian vibe—jewel-tone colors, streamlined shapes, and a balance of masculine and feminine accents abound. We really dig it. Scroll on for a tour below.
