It appears that Emmy-nominated actress Constance Zimmer is a closeted vintage connoisseur. The UnReal star has paired up with online vintage curator Chairish to host a sale of some of her most beloved gems, giving us a peek into her eclectic Los Angeles home in the process. Though she shares the home with her husband, Russ, their daughter, and their dog (pictured below), Constance's design influence is clear. "[My style is] eclectic, and maybe a little bohemian," she told the retailer. "I like to find a great vintage piece and build from there.
And that’s sort of what I’ve always done, so I guess my style hasn’t changed over time as much as it’s matured."
Zimmer credits her interest in vintage furnishings to her mom. "For as long as I can remember, she always loved going to garage sales and antique shops on the weekends to find those little gems among the junk," she explained to Chairish. "And for me, vintage just has more soul." Step inside Constance Zimmer's vintage-strewn Los Angeles home below to shop her unique finds from Chairish and learn more about each piece, as told to the publication.
"This was one of the first pieces we bought for our mid century modern home from the LA Modern auction. It is in great shape with what seems like the original fabric. The auction house attributed the design to Hans Wegner, but not verifiable as there are no markings anywhere on the couch."
"We just got this less than a year ago! We have the matching couch in our TV room and I wanted the ottoman for my closet, but it turned out to be too big for the small space."
"We love this table and will be sad to see it go, but it has served us greatly! This is great for an apartment or small space where you don't have the room for a big dining table."
"Delicate, decorative Italian box with a gold, pale green, and turquoise palette. Has minor dings due to its age. Another box I just loved and used for my jewelry."
"These barstools have been able to work in every house we've lived in even though we had them orginally made for our place in NYC. They have a great dark wine color seat that has turned into a nice soft leather. They are super comfortable and work with all styles."
"Handmade and beautiful Italian wooden rectangular box. Beautiful golden color. Marking is Florenta. I specifically used this one for my pearl jewelry. I don't know I just felt that's where they belonged. I collected these from various flea markets."
