Orange County, California–based architect Geoff Sumich reimagined this Laguna Beach paradise into an ethereal escape overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We love how Sumich played with glass and reflections to create an atmosphere that melds sea and sky. Combined with the natural colors of the elements, the indoor/outdoor nature of this monochromatic home makes you feel as if you’re living on a cloud. While modern, the smooth stucco structure maintains a welcoming sense of warmth that makes you never want to leave. Interior designer Lynn Pries calls it “a livable house” with tightly edited spaces. C Magazine explains, “Indeed, it’s a door-open kind of place—one where the subtle movement of simple white sheers catching the breeze is its own form of meditation.” Scroll through and experience the views for yourself.
