We’ve long been fans of Alison Davin’s work, but this most recent project, a family home in Sonoma County, California, has really blown us away. Inspired by a modern French farmhouse aesthetic, Davin and her team at Jute spent a year working on the home to inject contemporary refinement into the space while honoring its wine country locale. Though the home is a new construction, elements like reclaimed wood ceilings, custom light fixtures with the perfect amount of patina, and plaster-finished walls give the space charm and character. From the enviable views seen from the home’s dining area to the casual but refined exterior entertaining spaces, this home is truly awe-inspiring.
