Opulence isn't a term we use sparingly, but when it comes to this lavish Parisian abode it's the perfect fit. Owner and designer Shahan Minassian created the most palatial space that's eclectic and layered yet somehow minimal and refined at the same time. He puts it down to his need for calm and "serenity" at home. "In all the places that I create, I am looking for some serenity," he told Architectural Digest France. "But I do not want peace in a white box and empty. The monk's cell, not for me! I like objects, their associations, they make up the tables, the contrast of materials and shapes." This apartment is home to an impressive collection of décor and designer furniture that makes it more of a gallery space than a home, but this is definitely a place we'd want to live in.
