If Smeg's $50,000 Dolce & Gabbana fridge is somewhat out of your price range for kitchen appliances, we've got good news: The brands have collaborated yet again, and this time, the products are slightly more affordable (comparatively, at least). Today, Smeg announced the launch of its highly anticipated Dolce & Gabbana x Smeg Small Appliance Collection, which is available for preorder on Neiman Marcus.
The collection spans three products—a kettle, citrus juicer, and toaster—all emblazoned with the fashion label's iconic Sicilian-inspired designs. A coffee maker, blender, slow juicer, and mixer will be released later in the year. Each product retails for $600, significantly cheaper than the original fridge collaboration, but still around $450 more expensive than Smeg's standard appliances. It seems the same applies to home as it does to fashion: You pay extra for a prestigious label.

In the market for a new refrigerator? Luxury Italian fashion label Dolce & Gabbana has designed the fridge of your dreams… if your dreams include battle scenes and medieval knights, that is. Yes, according to The Cut, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are taking their wares off the runway and into your kitchen.
The Smeg collaboration features 100 limited-edition refrigerators, each meticulously hand-painted by artists to reflect the brand's Sicilian heritage. Think jousting knights and regal palace courtyards in pop-bright mustard and red hues. All in all, each Fab28 refrigerator took 240 hours of workmanship to create, which (almost) explains the exorbitant price tag. Suddenly, that white refrigerator in your kitchen is looking pretty basic.
