The LA Design Festival ended with a bash last Friday, June 27th, at the legendary rug gallery Woven Accents. Guests were not only greeted with a glass of champagne and lively conversation, but also with a delicate installation that wowed even the design elite. With the goal of celebrating bravery in design, the Woven Accents team collaborated with artist Tanya Nolan, Cerno Design Director Nick Sheridan, and furniture designer Amy Cherie, and used thousands of fragile white eggs to create what looked like a simple rug. The cutting-edge design, an adaption of Tanya Nolan's You've Made It (formerly seen at Art Basel 2013), paired with the brand's collection of beautiful antique rugs proved an unforgettable backdrop for a festive event.
