As residents of Southern California (a region where earthquakes rule the land), we know how important disaster-preparedness kits are. That being said, when it comes to smaller-scale emergencies, like spills, feminine hygiene, and random pangs of hunger or thirst, we aren't quite as prepared. So while we may survive the big one or a zombie apocalypse, our three-day emergency lights safely tucked away at home probably won't do us much good while we encounter everyday issues on the move.
This video from LeafTV provides us with some pointers on what we should keep in the car, from tampons to extra water and even a roll of paper towels. Plus, this genre of emergency kits is so much more fun to put together, considering that the stakes are lower and everything fits in your favorite overnight tote. Watch this video, and then ready, set, pack your bags! You'll thank yourself later.
Don't forget to shop the supplies you'll need.
