Self-professed pattern lovers, our hearts skip a beat whenever we cross a swirling, vibrant textile by luxury Italian fashion brand Pucci. But now our print lust needn't be restrained to silk scarves and jet-set apparel: the company has just unveiled a drop-dead-gorgeous tile collaboration with luxury Italian tile manufacturer Bisazza.
On display in an installation at this month's Milan Furniture Fair, the brands' new collection of broad-scale mosaic patterns
, inspired by original prints by Emilio Pucci, are just what your kitchen or bath needs to feel a little more dressed up. The collection includes three digital designs: Alba, a floral in rich, bold colors; Amelie, a geometric floral in aquamarine, black, and white; and Onde, a sea-inspired design in warm shades of brown, beige, white, and black. The line also includes three previous decorative mosaic panels made with the traditional tiling technique opus tessellatum
, a Greek mosaic made from small individual tiles about 4mm in size.
