If you're not familiar with Estee Stanley's name, chances are you're well acquainted with her work. The Los Angeles–based interior designer is the creative force behind some of Hollywood's most beautiful celebrity homes. Her portfolio reads like a Golden Globes best dressed list: Demi Moore, Brad Pitt, Salma Hayek, and Sofia Vergara are all clients, and most recently, Stanley invited us inside Hollywood restaurant Au Fudge, which she co-founded with Jessica Biel.

Given her impressive clientele and even more impressive body of work, we were curious to know how Stanley decorates her own home. Here, The Grace Tales offers a peek inside the top interior designer's L.A. home—and boy, does it live up to expectations.

A glance at Stanley's nightstand reveals "tiny notebooks where I write stories about my kids so they can have them when they're older, a clock, tons of water, and flowers."

"I have explained to my kids that we all want to have a beautiful home and to use only their playroom to go nuts and destroy," she says.
