Much like the app that made him his fortune, Evan Spiegel is ready to settle down. As Snapchat becomes more acutely defined as an entity, Spiegel and girlfriend Miranda Kerr are evolving as well. The couple just plunked down $12 million for a sprawling 7164-square-foot home in Los Angeles's ritzy Brentwood neighborhood.
Designed by renowned architect Gerard Colcord, the classic home includes all the amenities one would expect at that price tag, including a pool, a gym, a pool house, and a guesthouse.
The home, which once belonged to none other than Harrison Ford, sits on a spacious three-quarter-acre lot, which provides ample room for Kerr's son, Flynn (whose father is actor Orlando Bloom), to do, well, whatever it is 5-year-old boys do nowadays.
It may surprise some that Spiegel, a 25-year-old billionaire, would be so willing to settle down, considering his enviable position. But according to Kerr, Spiegel doesn't act like many other billionaires his age.
"He's 25, but he acts like he's 50. He's not out partying," Kerr told The Edit about her life with Spiegel recently. "He goes to work in Venice. He comes home. We don't go out."
With a house like the one below, we wouldn't go out either.
