Looking at Gigi Hadid and her statuesque frame, it’s hard to imagine the supermodel eating anything that doesn’t have the word "kale" in it. As it turns out, that’s not the case at all. According to a recent interview she did with Harper’s Bazaar, Hadid reveals she has a pretty healthy appetite, especially when it comes to breakfast. "I live near The Smile, and I love their scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast," she says of the ultra-hip New York eatery.
By the time lunch rolls around, Hadid often finds herself craving a burger. Though NYC has many legit burger options, Hadid only has eyes for J.G. Melon, the Greenwich Village institution whose cheeseburger has earned her vote for the best in the city. If she’s not in the mood for a burger, Hadid usually goes the healthy route with an arugula salad back at The Smile.
If there’s one type of food New York City does better than burgers, it’s sushi. So it’s now wonder that Hadid loves gorging on the Japanese delicacy for dinner, usually at SoHo’s super-chic sushi joint BondST. When it comes to dessert, Hadid has frozen treats on the brain. “There used to be an Emack & Bolio’s on Houston Street, which is my favorite ice-cream place,” she says of the ice cream shop that has since shuttered. “I love the Grasshopper Pie."
