We have pretty much established that the whole wallpaper revival isn’t even close to being over. After all, what other way can you totally transform a bare room into an enviable space in just a day—without having to switch out a single piece of furniture?

In case you're bored of all the overwhelmingly dark moody floral motifs and palm print papers of the last few years, the UK’s leading wallpaper and paint specialist Graham & Brown has just unveiled its Wallpaper and Color of the Year for 2020, and they are seriously crush-worthy.

The Bloomsbury Neo Mint Wallpaper is basically the Victorian meets Boho pattern that Pinterest has been waiting for. The fabulously feminine floral and butterfly motif is at once timeless, unconventional, and eclectic. “Bloomsbury Neo Mint celebrates the vastly influential creative output of the British Bloomsbury Group who were united by the belief that fine art should inhabit everyday spaces,” the company explains in their press release.

So what makes this floral pattern so fresh for 2020, compared to the thousands we have already seen all over Instagram? “The enduring popularity of floral wallpaper designs show no sign of waning,” Paula Taylor, Color and Trends Specialist at Graham & Brown, explains. “As we continue to migrate towards busy urbanized spaces, it is becoming more and more important to bring the outside in and channel the healing properties of nature. In 2020, we are seeing floral designs take a maximalist turn, with bold bright colorways and layered patterns inspired by an eclectic range of design schools and art movements."

If the Neo Mint shade isn't quite up your alley, the pattern is also available in gray, emerald, and noir. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but the mint is seriously to die for.

As for its Color of the Year, the company chose Adeline Paint, a seriously rich and deep green hue. “A directional shade of rich bottle-green, Adeline borrows the first name of Adeline Virginia Woolf, the pioneering author and founding member of the Bloomsbury Group,” the company explains.

Both the Bloomsbury Neo Mint wallpaper and the Adeline Paint is sold exclusively on the company’s website. The wallpaper retails for $140 per roll. The price of the paint is currently unknown, as Graham & Brown will be launching their paint collection in the US later this month.
