Beach bums, rejoice! Photographer of the moment Gray Malin just launched a gorgeous coffee-table book, and it's hitting the shelves today, just in time for summer. The new book, Beaches, features Malin's signature aerial photographs of coastlines across six continents and over 20 cities. Hovering over countless beaches in doorless helicopters around the world, this unstoppable photographer captured the essence of carefree summer bliss, from the color-coded pastels of Miami to the Iceberg pools of Bondi Beach and the dramatic cliffs of Capri.
To celebrate the book's launch, we caught up with Malin at home in Los Angeles and asked him to give us a tour of his most prized possessions for the inaugural episode of our new series, Stop, Drop, and Save, where we go into influencers' homes to find out what they would save in case of a (knock on wood) fire. Unsurprisingly, Malin's most cherished souvenirs are filled with stories of travel, adventure, and joie de vivre. Watch as the photographer tours us through his most treasured memories and some of his favorite destinations.
