We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Colorful kitchens are on the rise. As much as we’ll always love an all-white kitchen, a culinary space with deep, rich color can be such a cozy and inspiring space to prepare your meals in. We recently came across this fabulous Shaker kitchen in London, designed by DeVOL, and we couldn’t help but want to reach for a paint roller.
Its deep green shade reminds us of Farrow & Ball’s “Weathered and Hazy,” a hue that’s tranquil, calm, and sophisticated. Paired with honey marble countertops and hints of copper, terra cotta, and cypress wood, the understated space has a timeless palette and an elegant mix of materials. We couldn’t help but admire the kitchen’s beautiful accessories as well: Copper pots, a luxe black espresso machine, an old-school wall clock, a red KitchenAid mixer, and peppy Pantone mugs all set the tone for a tasteful and intriguing space.
