The below banana bread recipe from dietitian, Shape Me founder, and author of The Monday to Friday Diet Susie Burrell is exhibit A. Burrell, who specializes in weight loss and maintenance, recently shared her recipe with the Australian health publication My Body+Soul, and it makes for the perfect healthy yet indulgent treat (without the bloat). Ingredients:

2 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup Whole Earth Baking Blend
2 bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup low-fat milk
1/4 cup butter, melted

2 cups self-rising flour

Directions:

Mix flour, baking soda, and baking blend with mashed bananas, vanilla, eggs, milk, and butter.

Spoon into a loaf tin and bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes until cooked through.
