If the roughly seven million annual viewers are any indication, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show piques the interest of many. Between the live performances, enchanting outfits, and world-famous supermodels, the spectacle continues to generate buzz year after year. Unsurprisingly, it's one of the most iconic jobs you can land as a model (not to mention high-paying). In fact, nine of the models who walked the VS show in 2016 also snagged a spot on Forbes's list of the world's 20 highest-paid models that year. According to the business magazine, here are the top five highest-paid Victoria's Secret models as of the 2016 show…
Surprisingly, Victoria's Secret veteran Alessandra Ambrosio places fifth on the list. The 36-year-old model has graced the VS runway since 2004 and is worth an estimated $60 million. She brought in roughly $5 million in 2016 alone.
With an estimated net worth of $35 million, Chinese-born Liu Wen brought in roughly $7 million last year. Wen is one of only three non-white models to make Forbes's prestigious list (all of whom walked the VS runway in 2016).
The year 2016 was filled with accomplishments for 22-year-old Gigi Hadid. She snagged the International Model of the Year award at London's Fashion Awards, walked the VS runway for the second time, and raked in an estimated $9 million.
After making her VS debut in 2015, Kendall Jenner has skyrocketed to supermodel status at just 21 years old. She snagged third place on Forbes's list of highest-paid models in the world and earned an impressive $10 million in 2016 alone.
The name Adriana Lima is basically synonymous with Victoria's Secret. The Brazillian-born beauty has been strutting the VS runway since 1999 and is worth an estimated $75 million. She brought in roughly $10.5 million in 2016 alone, out-earning all of her fellow VS Angels.
