Although Hillary Clinton undoubtedly has a larger, slightly more coveted house on her mind, she and husband Bill have just purchased a modest three-bedroom ranch adjacent to their Chappaqua, New York, home. According to Zillow, the $1.16 million home is all a part of their plan to create a "Kennedy-esque compound in the lush environs of upstate New York."
The 3631-square-foot home features an expansive open floor plan, hardwood floors, a chef's kitchen, and a master suite oasis complete with a renovated bathroom and two spacious walk-in closets. Through the suite's French doors, you'll find an outdoor pool encircled by a low stonewall fence, plus a glimpse of the family's central abode. Formerly owned by architect Charles Chepigin, what the home lacks in luxury amenities it makes up for in seamless interior design.
