True to form, Hillary Clinton is soaring into 2017 following the election upset late last year. The secretary of state and former FLOTUS seems to be embarking on a slightly more therapeutic endeavor, putting her efforts into writing a book of personal essays scheduled to debut September 26, 2017.
The currently untitled book will give Clinton a platform to "tell stories from her life, up to and including her experiences in the 2016 presidential campaign," said publisher Simon & Schuster to The Associated Press this morning. Focused on the hundreds of quotes that have inspired her impressive career thus far, Clinton hopes to galvanize a new generation of Americans through her work.
"These are the words I live by. These quotes have helped me celebrate the good times, laugh at the absurd times, persevere during the hard times, and deepen my appreciation of all life has to offer," she said in a statement. "I hope by sharing these words and my thoughts about them, the essays will be meaningful for readers."
