The dreaded Sunday night scaries—there’s nothing worse than the sun going down after a great weekend and realising... oh no, tomorrow is Monday. That said, there'll be something different about this Sunday. Why? It’s TV's night of nights, the TV WEEK Logie Awards, and we think there's no better way to brighten up your night than by gathering up your clique for a viewing party. What could be better than watching the red carpet beauties roll in and trying to guess which show-stopping gown Jesinta Franklin will wear?

To get you started, the team at MyDomaine Australia has pulled together all the elements of our dream Logies viewing party for inspiration. Read on for all the ingredients this Sunday night.

White and Red Wine

Hungerford Hill 2016 Classic Hunter Valley Fiano $27

Ripe with mandarin, floral and fresh herbal aromas, this drop has a textured palate with lots of citrus fruit and gentle tannins. In other words, drink up.

Hungerford Hill 2014 Epic Mclaren Vale Shiraz $120

This tipple is deep red and smells like chocolate, earthy spice and blood plums. (It tastes as good as it sounds.) The palate is smooth and creamy—perfect paired with the frozen fruit and nut board below.

Frozen Fruit & Nut Grazing Board

Gather & Feast

Fresh mint

Dried mango

Brazil nuts

Goji berries

Turkish apricots

Dark chocolate

Chocolate Dipped Bananas

Slice bananas in half and place in the freezer overnight.

Remove frozen bananas from the freezer and dip into melted chocolate.

Sprinkle with roughly chopped roasted almonds and place back into the freezer until you are ready to use them.

Watermelon & Pineapple

Slice the watermelon and pineapple and place into the freezer until frozen. (I put mine in an airtight container and separate the layers with baking paper.)

Grazing Board

Arrange the frozen fruit, fresh fruit, nuts and chocolate onto a large serving board, sprinkle with fresh mint (and edible flowers if you have some) and enjoy with friends.
