We’ve long been big fans of the Byredo brand, especially their candles, which boast captivating scents and super chic branding alike. But it’s no secret that the luxury label's items cost a pretty penny. That’s why we were thrilled when we learned that Byredo founder Ben Gorham teamed up with IKEA to launch a line featuring 13 distinct scented candles, all of which are available at low prices.

The 13 scented candles in the collection are made to provoke the kind of emotion that’s hard to put into words...and above all to heighten the experience of being at home.

The collaboration, known as IKEA’s OSYNLIG collection, features 13 different candles that range in price and size. Best of all, none of the products will cost you more than $24.99, with prices starting at just $4.99. And compared to Byredo candles’ usual $85 sticker, that’s quite a deal.

The word OSYNLIG itself? It’s Swedish for “invisible,” because, as noted on IKEA’s website, “the 13 scented candles in the collection are made to provoke the kind of emotion that’s hard to put into words...and above all to heighten the experience of being at home.” We love this philosophy in general but especially these days, as we all could use a pick me up or two while spending extra hours inside our apartments.

The fragrances have been divided into three categories: Fresh, floral, and woody, so there’s truly something for everyone. We love the idea of picking up several and gifting them as stocking stuffers, housewarming presents, or mailing one to a friend “just because.”

Better yet, these pieces are truly the gift that keeps on giving thanks to the ceramic votive, which truthfully looks like something you’d find at a speciality home goods store and not a big box retailer. Once the candle is burned through, you or your recipient can easily repurpose the jar and use it to hold pens and pencils, makeup brushes, flowering stems, and the like. And for the votives that come with lids, the storage possibilities only continue. Talk about $10 well spent!
