Instant Classics: Jeff Andrews

Trends come and go faster than it takes for a rap feud to begin, so it can be hard to know whether that piece you're starting to fall in love with will prove to have real staying power. Luckily, interior designer Jeff Andrews, who's worked with the likes of Ryan Seacrest, Michael C. Hall, and the Kardashians, is here to provide us with some timeless picks that won't go out of style, in this new edition of Instant Classics:

07 Jean de Merry Lumiere Chandelier: This midcentury inspired light fixture really packs a design punch. I've used it in both modern and traditional settings to great effect. Easily customizable in size and finish, the Lumiere is already a design classic in my book. Price Upon Request, Dering Hall
06 Ellipse Op Table: This table is a sculptural yet functional statement piece, and its solid cast-bronze base and stone top will endure years of wear, making it well worth the price. Plus, the Op table's timeless elegance will never go out of style. $13500, Blackman Cruz
08 Dimensional Oval Tile: Talented ceramicist Edith Heath founded Heath Ceramics in 1948, and the company has been making timeless, quality ceramics ever since. The oval dimensional tile has a midcentury feel with a distinctly modern edge. It will no doubt look just as good in 20 years as it does right now. $77, Heath Ceramics
02 Mr. Crowley Cowhide Area Rug: Kyle Bunting has redefined the use of cowhide in high-end interior design. Surprisingly durable and always luxurious, his hair on hide rugs make a bold statement, but in a quietly sophisticated way. The classic chevron pattern of the Mr. Crowley area rug has a textural grounding quality that is both elegant and modern. Price Upon Request, Kyle Bunting
05 Boi Sconce: This retro-inspired contemporary sconce looks like it time-warped straight out of the 1950s. It's casual and smart, lending itself to many uses and looking at home anywhere from a library to a child's bedroom. Price Upon Request, David Weeks
10 Avalon Blanket: Every room can use a touch of luxury. While the natural instinct is to avoid most things with logos, Hermès is a brand that is synonymous with good taste and style. The wool and cashmere Avalon blanket is a classic, functional accessory that's available in a variety of colors to suit any interior. $1300, Hermès
01 Square Guest Stool: The Square Guest Chairs and Stools from BDDW are simple yet beautiful with a Shaker-like quality that lends itself nicely to any environment. With their solid walnut construction and saddle leather, these chairs are offered in three different heights and can be purchased with or without arms, which further maximizes their versatility. I never tire of this elegant chair. Price Upon Request, BDDW
09 Eames Aluminum Group Management Chair: This extremely versatile and classic chair is one of my all-time favorites. I've used it in corporate settings, home offices, kitchens, and formal dining rooms. It's one of the most recognized chairs on the planet, but it never gets old. $2129, Herman Miller
04 Klismos Collection Exterior Furniture: In 1960, renowned furniture designer T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings took the ancient klismos shape and created a line of furniture that has stood the test of time. That classic shape has been re-interpreted countless times over the years by numerous manufacturers and designers. Leave it to Restoration Hardware to take a beautiful, timeless shape like the klismos and create affordable, quality outdoor furniture. What's not to love? It's truly a modern classic! From $300, Restoration Hardware
03 Fornasetti Plate: It doesn't get much more classic than the work of renowned artist Piero Fornasetti. I remember the first time I saw these plates from his "Themes and Variations" series as a wide-eyed kid on my first trip to Milan. I thought they were so oddly beautiful--I didn't know whether to like them or hate them. Eventually, of course, I grew to love their curious refinement and I've used them in all kinds of different settings. They're a wonderful addition to any interior, either as wall art or as part of a tablescape. They're like little unique nuggets of art history. $158, FarFetch
