It's safe to say that Jeanne Damas may be the Bridgette Bardot or Jane Birkin of our time. The fashion designer and social media maven is the quintessential French girl; she even based her entire fashion line, Rouje, around the effortlessly feminine aesthetic often associated with the European country.
Needless to say, that enviable effortlessness seems to follow her wherever she goes, namely, on her current trip to Tunisia. True to form, Damas has been documenting her trip extensively on her Instagram account, and per the geotags, she has already hit the coastal town of Sidi Bou Said, Zarzis, Dar Dhiafa, and the capital, Tunis, with her friends.
While the Northern African country is an undoubtedly beautiful (just a scroll through Instagram's location tags will affirm that) and affordable locale, it has a bit of a sordid past. Following two terrorist attacks in 2015, the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office advised against all but essential travel to the country; a ban that was lifted at the end of July.
Now that the ban has been lifted, it's clear that more and more people are flocking to this gorgeous part of the world. Keep scrolling to see how one of our favorite French muses is currently experiencing the beautiful country.
