If there's one interior designer who most springs to mind when we think about the word "color," it's New York–based interior designer Jeffrey Bilhuber. The man is a master at mixing vivid colors while maintaining a sophisticated, not-at-all-psychedelic aesthetic. And his client list is almost as legendary as his interiors: Iman and David Bowie; Mariska Hargitay; and Anna Wintour are just a few of the people he's worked with.
Needless to say, when we came across one of his most recent projects—a New Jersey farmhouse bursting with color—in House Beautiful, we stopped dead in our tracks. Layered with complementary hues, the space is traditional with a fresh, contemporary slant. Scroll on for a tour.
