The 20-Minute Workout Jenna Dewan Does When There's No Time for the Gym

Some days there's simply no time for the gym. Between long days in the office, spending time with friends and family, cooking dinner, and running errands, the luxury of having a spare hour or two to make it to a Spin class or go for a run isn't always possible. When you find yourself pressed for time but craving a quick sweat session, you might want to take a page from Jenna Dewan's book.

The dancer and actress recently took to her Instagram to share one of her go-to exercise routines with her 5.3 million followers. In a quick timelapse video, she demonstrates the 20-minute workout she turns to when she's pressed for time, captioning the clip, "Sometimes a quick on the go home/hotel workout is all I have time for."

The workout is a circuit-style routine involving mountain climbers, squats, push-ups, jump squats, and sit-ups. Here's how you can do it at home or on the go. All you need is a little bit of floor space and some motivation.

1. 25 mountain climbers (knees to chest)
2. 20 squats
3. 10 push-ups
4. 10 squat jumps
5. 25 sit-ups

This isn't the first time Dewan has displayed her active lifestyle on Instagram. According to her social media profile, she also practices Pilates, goes hiking, and does dance-inspired workout routines.
