If you had to describe Jennifer Garner with just a few words, adjectives like sophisticated, classic, and timeless might come to mind. Unsurprisingly, those same words can be used to describe the actress' new home in the luxe Los Angeles neighborhood of the Pacific Palisades.

According to a Compass property listing, the house sold for $13.86 million, although Garner is just leasing it for now. The home boasts six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half baths, and plenty of spare rooms. On the first floor, you'll find a home theater, a guest bedroom, and a large office. There's also a newly remodeled kitchen outfitted with marble countertops, white cabinets, and a white subway tile backsplash. The all-white look continues throughout the space and is contrasted by dark chocolate brown hardwood flooring for a striking look.

The upstairs offers four en-suite bedrooms, each with its own balcony and sweeping views. Then, on the lower level beneath the first floor, there is a wine tasting room, a climate-controlled wine cellar, a gym (complete with a sauna), a craft room, a billiards room, and another bedroom. Although the home's interiors are impressive, it's the expansive backyard that will have you feeling envious. It features a large, grassy lawn that lines a swimming pool, a spa, and a patio that includes a fireplace and a barbeque kitchen.

The home's exterior is decidedly traditional with crisp, white paint, symmetrical balconies, and a charming red front door. Even the perfectly manicured lawn and stone path add to the classic nature of the property.

Once inside, the living room is equally sophisticated. This space features a bright, white color palette, including a large sectional and a plush area rug. A variety of throw pillows and blankets create a warm and inviting room that leads directly out into the stunning backyard through French doors. Located in Los Angeles, the space was clearly intended for indoor/outdoor living.

The kitchen continues the all-white motif, as everything from the cabinets to the marble countertops feature the traditional shade of paint. However, a deep brown shade of hardwood flooring acts as a contrast to the stark white surroundings. The overall effect feels modern, yet classic.

Once the cooking is done, you can enjoy a meal in this bright breakfast nook right off of the kitchen. With plenty of natural light streaming in through the windows, it makes for the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee before starting the day.

Upstairs, you'll find this primary bedroom. The large room features a vaulted ceiling that only adds to the expansiveness of the space. Like all of the bedrooms in this house, the primary suite offers a private balcony meant for enjoying the mild Los Angeles temperatures (and the view, of course). Again, this room features contemporary white walls and furnishings that stand out against the darker flooring.

Primary Bedroom

The term “Primary Bedroom” is now widely used to describe the largest bedroom in the home, as it better reflects the space’s purpose. Many realtors, architects, interior designers, and the Real Estate Standards Association have recognized the potentially discriminatory connotations in the term “Master.” Read more about our Diversity and Inclusion Pledge.

Just off the primary bedroom is this stunning primary bathroom. Instead of hardwood floors, the space features a light tile that adds to the airy nature of the all-white bathroom. A vanity is situated in front of windows that let in even more natural light.

From this view, you can also see a freestanding bath primed for relaxing. Across from the tub, there's also a large walk-in shower.

If the massive primary bathroom wasn't enough to impress you, this enormous closet will seal the deal. Cabinets, shelves, and smaller closets for hanging clothes make up this dreamy space. There's even enough room for additional seating, just in case you need to take a break from picking out an outfit.

The lower level of the house features more spaces made for entertainment and relaxation. This room is the home theater, complete with leather seating and a large projection screen. It's practically a necessity in any actor's home.

If you'd prefer to play a game, just make your way to the billiards room. There's plenty of room for a game around the table that sits beneath a traditional chandelier.

For wine lovers, there's a climate-controlled wine cellar that looks like it could hold enough wine to last for the rest of your life. Exposed stone walls and wooden wine holders create a true winery feel.

When it comes time to wind down after an at-home workout, there's even a private sauna located in the lower level of the home. It looks like something straight out of a five-star spa.

Finally, the backyard really makes a statement. There's a large pool, spa, and plenty of patio space for entertaining outside.
